Descrizione dell'iniziativa
Wireless communications are a pillar of the technologies that surround us. This activity introduces the fundamentals of amateur (ham) radio operation and allows the students to operate an amateur radio station installed at Politecnico di Milano. The three lessons will cover the basics of radio architecture, modulation, antennas and communication techniques. The practical activity will be carried out using the IU2PJI callsign assigned to PoliHam (the amateur radio club of the Politecnico di Milano). The practical activity will include the installation of the antenna, the setting up of the station and its use for radio contacts on a global scale
