Equipment
The 3D Printing Lab is equipped with machines, operated by staff, for PLA filament deposition printing. These processes can be realised starting from three-dimensional models and must be discussed in advance with the staff.
The 3D Printing Lab offers:
- Ultimaker S5 Pro Bundle dual extruder printers with a printing volume of 330 x 240 x 300 mm;
- Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro printers with a printing volume of 220 x 220 x 220 mm;
- Creality K1 Max printer with a printing volume of 300 x 300 x 300 mm.
How to access
1. Discuss the need of these operations with your tutor
Check with the staff that the process is appropriate for your needs.
2. Follow the instructions for the preparation of the files
For printing, you must prepare 3D models with certain characteristics: consult the attachment and videos at the bottom of the page.
3. Save your files on USB and check it with the staff
Our staff will review your files to check that they are correct, assess printing times and calculate the cost of materials.
